Ry Barbin is licensed to practice Law in both Hawaii and Texas. He received a Bachelor of Business Administration from Texas Tech University in 1966 and a Doctorate of Jurisprudence from Baylor University in 1968.

He is a member of the American Bar Association, Hawaii State Bar Association, the American Bankruptcy Institute and is a past President of the Maui County Bar Association.

He recently was named to the prestigious legal publication,"The Best Lawyers in America-Consumer Guide." Mr. Barbin is one of only two(2)lawyers in Hawaii to be listed for his expertise in Bankruptcy Law.

He is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court, United States Federal District Court of Hawaii, Hawaii Supreme Court and is a panel Arbitrator for Hawaii Circuit courts. He is also authorised as a Bankruptcy Arbitrator by the U. S. Bankruptcy Court.

Mr. Barbin has served his community as President of the Maui United Way, President of the Wailuku Rotary Club, and as Chairman of the Maui County Democratic Party.

He also serves as the Maui Field Representative for United States Senator Daniel K. Inouye.
